PROTUNE ("the App") is developed by Dark Castle Group, LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Microphone Audio: The App requires access to your device's microphone to detect the pitch of your instrument and provide real-time tuning feedback. Audio captured by your microphone is processed entirely on your device. This audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server.

Subscription and Purchase Data: When you subscribe to PROTUNE Pro or make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage subscription status and entitlements. RevenueCat may receive an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipt data from Apple to verify your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or other personal information from us. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Local Preferences: The App stores your settings (selected instrument, tuning, theme, calibration preferences, metronome presets, and drum patterns) locally on your device using on-device storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Data Storage and Security

All user preferences and app data are stored locally on your device. We do not operate databases that store personal user information. Your subscription status is managed securely through Apple and RevenueCat's infrastructure.

Children's Privacy

The App is rated 4+ and is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. Your local app preferences can be cleared by uninstalling the App. To manage or cancel your subscription, visit your Apple ID Account Settings in the App Store.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
